1. Something went wrong on our end..." If you're looking for a way to keep track of your VA appointments, don't waste your time with this app. This app is very easy to use.
2. now that I've downloaded the VA.gov app to my smart phone I can see all my appointments, not only that but I can save the appointments directly to my phone's calendar for reminders, the best part is it also has the location of the appointments with easy access to Maps for directions.
3. If the app gets repaired, it would be a much higher star rating - maybe other phones don't have this same issue, but mine does...biometric login rarely works, like 2 times out of 30+ logon attempts.
4. The only downside is that the information isn't as in depth as the desktop site in the way that you can see the overall status of a claim but you can not see the details of it's progress like you can on the desktop site. The app is relatively easy to use and I have minimal issues with it.
5. Doesn't anyone test their software for continuity and functionality anymore? Apparently, that's far too much to ask.Due to mental health issues, I would miss my VA appointments a lot.
6. I have had it for over six months, and not once in that time has it ever actually loaded my VA appointments or health information.
7. Really wish I could renew prescriptions using the app (and the main reason I initially installed it), but it does not have that ability. The app is great in theory.
8. Key info should be upfront.Half the time I can't read secure messages as it usually tells me something went wrong.
9. I can't use it for more than 3 minutes at a time without having to force close.Messages longer than 20 words, or so, written using my Note 10+ fail consistently.
10. So instead of a button saying cluck here for claims info, provide the status of any pending claims and clicking would take you to the claim.
11. Also inconsistent in viewing appointments, and won't show any in the community, even though the VA set those appointments up.
