Why should I report an Issue with California WIC App?

1. This is frustrating because I rely on the app to keep my balance up to date to shop accordingly.Great app if it works when I click food balance to see what I have availible it says no benefits and error and logs me out.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times hoping it'd help and it hasn't.For me the app works OK , no problem scanning but it never shows the actual benefits only the future benefits so is hard to know what is available.Still can't see my benefits I have to rely on a receipt or the help of mothers nutritional.

3. I'll keep it to check my balance but it's main convenience is goneThe Wic food scan option doesn't work properly.

4. Its okay to just to keep up with your balance but the main feature that is supposed to make this app worth the time to download is that you can scan items to see if a particular item is covered.

5. Already installed and Uninstalled several times already.Keeps crashing don't let you log in most of the time when u at the storeGreat app you can view your appointments, food balance and more details on the foods allowed.

6. If you're having this same issues, email them! I've been unable to use the food scan to check if foods are wic eligible for months now.

7. Maybe once I'm able to register my account I will have a better experience, BUT FOR NOW I FEEL IT'S TERRIBLE!!!Edit: I emailed them directly over the food scanner and provided the necessary information.

8. Issue wasn't a problem when I first downloaded the app, it's been ongoing even after deleting & downloading the app.

9. The App was working properly but one day the wic food scan camera started malfunctioning.

10. Also when viewing benefit amount you have to keep exiting in order to go back and fourth each benefit amount.The app is always crashing.

1. Fix Cali Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Cali: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Cali App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cali" » Open California WIC App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cali » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear California WIC App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cali servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "California WIC App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Cali app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cali might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Cali. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cali then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cali not working

2. Fix Cali Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cali be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cali not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cali may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
