About Lockito – GPS itinerary faker

1. Important: If mocked location seems to jump to real one during simulation, try to turn off wifi based locations (Settings / Location / Mode --> Device only).

2. Note: You have to activate mock location in developer menu to have this application works on a unrooted device.

3. Lockito allows you to make your phone follow a fake itinerary, with total control over the speed, altitude and GPS signal accuracy.

4. This is the must-have tool for any Android developers who needs to test geofencing-based apps or just test his app on different locations.

5. You can also simulate a static location.

6. For root devices, you just have to move Lockito in /system/app folder (or /system/priv-app on Android >= 4. 4).

Lockito Customer Insights

1. You start a simulation and after a few minutes it stops by itself and goes to you real location, all of this while the application is on screen, so it hasn't been killed or going into sleepMy galaxy 10 updated to android 11 today.

2. When pressing the start button the simulation overlay blinks up for a second and a notification telling me, that the simulation couldn't be started shows up.It is a really good application but since a few months ago is not working properly.

3. Second, which Datum is being used? I selected an altitude of 5000 meters, but it doesn't appear to actually be going that high.No matter what setting I put it on, it always tries to make me go in a straight line.

4. It just need to fake the location based on the itinerary.. But still, it keep on using a lot of CPU and so a lot of battery.

5. I can't get it to follow roads even with it being on the driving option. It stopped working when I updated my phone to Android 12.

6. Currently, it is stuck in metric (version 3.0.8). I changed it in the settings to Imperial, but it doesn't appear to have changed.

7. It does work for shorter distances, or if you don't mind setting a lot of marks so it follows them.

8. I do suggest walking speeds and maybe an option to convert the distances from metric to imperial.

9. The wayI use it here, it wouldn't need to access my real location.

10. I understand all of the setting to turn off in settings location.

11. No when I start a route it will stop after 5-7 and then put you back in your actual location.
