1. It never can find the correct video stream to play, and continuously shows ads to do anythingDoesn't work and just keeps saying connection error, tried all FAQ and walkthroughs but even if it did, wouldn't even consider upgrading to the paid considering how frequently it just badgers you to upgrade and so egregiously it spams you with adverts! Literally after every screen tap, it either asks you to upgrade or to buy the full version, before it even works itself.

On the face of it, it seems to be a shameless cash grab, would give less than 1 star if possible.worst app ever! couldnt watch a thing! had both my phone & tv connected to the same wifi, same IP & everything just as instructed, yet everytime I click the app on my tv it disconnects from the wifi! waste of time, waste of data downloading this horrible app & the other app reccomended for my device via the FAQ.

3. It's the only app I trust not to spread viruses to my phone.everybsingle time you want to cast a video, it asks you to wath adds.you syart watching adds then videos starts to load at the same time.

4. wothout hastle of loding adds with eveey single clicks and actually let people watch a video.By far the worst app I have ever downloaded from the PlayStore.

5. This is the second time this has happened! last time was w/ my older tv and my older phone, thought maybe upgrading would help; yet here I am👹I love this app.

6. First off to get any function you have to purcashe the pro version... Second I tried to use it to steam Amazon Music and can't do that either browser needs to be updated.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TV Cast Issues

1. Fix TV Cast Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TV Cast: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TV Cast App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TV Cast" » Open TV Cast for Hisense VIDAA VEWD » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TV Cast » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TV Cast for Hisense VIDAA VEWD app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TV Cast servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TV Cast for Hisense VIDAA VEWD" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TV Cast app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TV Cast might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TV Cast. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TV Cast then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TV Cast not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TV Cast be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TV Cast not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TV Cast may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
