Why should I report an Issue with Castie for XBOX 360, XBOX One,?

1. Spend a bit of time reading before rating a working app 1 starI was mad about the XBOX Smartglass app not being around anymore...until I found this app! This app does exactly what I wanted to do and is super easy to navigate and control.

2. This app was just another waste of time, nothing works...I can't cast from my phone to my xbox at allThe files sesrch only give a list of tood folders which are frudtrating.

3. The only thing I've found is it won't recognize one video format but that's no big deal.I opened the app and all it shows me is the two options for Xbox One and the 360 but i cant get anywhere past that point.

6. Your app doesn't offer anything more.. its a glorified chromecast rip.Would be much better if it didnt crash after 20 mins when linked to my xbox one, uninstall and reinstall for it to wirk again.

8. You can't expect to just download the app and then it do the magic for you especially if your trying to get it to work on older devices like xbox 360.

9. The softwea sould dscriminate in where it searches but it dors need configroot,BIN or Ny other system files to scan our medio oly folders.

11. I bought that app 4 dollars isn't much.. then it didn't work.. the permissions are a bug issue.

1. Fix Castie Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Castie: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Castie App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Castie" » Open Castie for XBOX 360, XBOX One, » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Castie » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Castie for XBOX 360, XBOX One, app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Castie servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Castie for XBOX 360, XBOX One," » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Castie app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Castie might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Castie. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Castie then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Castie not working

2. Fix Castie Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Castie be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Castie not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Castie may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
