(Timed with stopwatch) Then when the video ends it disconnects from the device its being streamed to so you need to start the app again.Absolutely worthless and I bought it! only plays the video for 3 seconds and the cuts out and quits very pissed update switching to the 3 stars from 1 star due to their prompt attention to this review and a quick refund.

2. I've re- downloaded everything and re connected everything and still nothing.Paid for and only played video audio for only 4 seconds then it would shutdown! App was uninstalled after refund was requested and returned.

3. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the streaming devices to show up after steering to play a video in order for it to be cast.

5. I did manage to play embedded videos from websites R-Cast has stored but not even all of those worked.I bought this some years ago and loved it, but now it wont work at all.

6. I got you guys will finder me a refund, because this just doesn't work as advertised.From what I can gather from attempting to use this app is you can only cast their prerecorded shite videos.

7. Respectfully, my initial review and comment was inappropriate.Horrible. Supposedly you can upgrade to play videos longer then 10 minutes.

8. I would have gladly paid for the upgrade, if the app worked all or even most of the time.I figured playing for the full version weight get me a better product, so I didn't even try the free version.

9. At least it is somewhat functional.The classic "Doesn't even deserve one star" I downloaded and wasted the extra $2.49 for longer videos so I could cast to my Rokus.

10. You can't just type in a web address that is playing a video; it just shows a white screen on my phone.

1. Fix R-Cast Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart R-Cast: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the R-Cast App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "R-Cast" » Open R-Cast » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for R-Cast » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear R-Cast app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from R-Cast servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "R-Cast" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check R-Cast app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, R-Cast might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall R-Cast. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall R-Cast then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing R-Cast not working

2. Fix R-Cast Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make R-Cast be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to R-Cast not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, R-Cast may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
