1. Go spend the $10 for a used Roku, it will be cheaper in the long run and save you a ton of hassle.It doesn't work! Once we got it working, which was horrible to figure out and not easy like the directions say, it just kept stopping every couple min...I haven't used it in a few days so I forgot if it was ads that popped up ruining it, which i think that was happening til i got a ad blocker set up, then it just kept stopping for no reason n when we would fix it then it started over!!! 2. I was only able to get my video to full screen once and then it has no controls! After spending a fortune on their TV, they expect you to pay money for this, when Chromecast is free? Crazy! I'll just keep using Chromecast instead.

3. The video will start to play on the tv, then buffer until (i assume) you watch the ad that it keeps you from watching...This app is so bad it can and should affect your choices in Smart TVs.

4. Afterwards, you have to navigate a terrible browser, and when you finally find your video you can either guess which url it is or, Premium!It's like Chrome Cast, only it sucks and doesnt work at all.

No thank you.I'm rather savvy with this sort of thing, but after about 2hr of playing around with this, I can confirm that it is next to useless without buying $14 worth of paid add-ons (which are abundant), which, handily enough, are promised as solutions to any of the numerous problems you're bound to encounter.

6. You can't just make whatever's on your phone show up on the screen; you can only do a web search in the app itself to try to find a video to send to the screen, just like you could do on the smart TV itself.

1. Fix TV Cast Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TV Cast: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TV Cast App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TV Cast" » Open TV Cast for LG webOS » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TV Cast » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TV Cast for LG webOS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TV Cast servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TV Cast for LG webOS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TV Cast app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TV Cast might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TV Cast. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TV Cast then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TV Cast not working

2. Fix TV Cast Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TV Cast be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TV Cast not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TV Cast may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
