1. Go spend the $10 for a used Roku, it will be cheaper in the long run and save you a ton of hassle. It doesn't work! Once we got it working, which was horrible to figure out and not easy like the directions say, it just kept stopping every couple min...I haven't used it in a few days so I forgot if it was ads that popped up ruining it, which i think that was happening til i got a ad blocker set up, then it just kept stopping for no reason n when we would fix it then it started over!!! EVERY single time!!! That got waaay old n irritating...SO IF U COULD JUST FIX THE KINKS you'd have something REALLY GOOD HERE! good luck...Let's start with "free" is too expensive for this worthless, clunky, badly designed wannabe app.
2. I was only able to get my video to full screen once and then it has no controls! After spending a fortune on their TV, they expect you to pay money for this, when Chromecast is free? Crazy! I'll just keep using Chromecast instead.
3. The video will start to play on the tv, then buffer until (i assume) you watch the ad that it keeps you from watching...This app is so bad it can and should affect your choices in Smart TVs.
4. Afterwards, you have to navigate a terrible browser, and when you finally find your video you can either guess which url it is or, Premium! It's like Chrome Cast, only it sucks and doesnt work at all.
5. No thank you.I'm rather savvy with this sort of thing, but after about 2hr of playing around with this, I can confirm that it is next to useless without buying $14 worth of paid add-ons (which are abundant), which, handily enough, are promised as solutions to any of the numerous problems you're bound to encounter.
6. You can't just make whatever's on your phone show up on the screen; you can only do a web search in the app itself to try to find a video to send to the screen, just like you could do on the smart TV itself.
7. My choice now is to not watch on the TV in my living space, watch my streaming services on my laptop, or fork over more money than I want for a new TV.
8. LG has outsourced something as simple as screen mirroring which most companies provide free into a cheap, sleazy, freemium app.
9. My LG phone has always had its own screen mirroring function that's always worked well across TVs of different brands, and this app makes that process far less simple.
10. Chromecast works smoothly, easily, consistently, and without demanding that I pay just to use the app without an obstruction every time I open it.Pointless App.
11. In order to stream anything without paying for Premium, you have to watch an ad.
