1. Remote access is enabled in the settings menu..If only Miele could develop an app as good as their dishwashers... I gave up after trying 3 times using the guided option - and I work in IT! In any event, I figured I didn't need a connected appliance (who the heck does anyway?), especially when the app's main function is to provide Miele with usage data.

Very disappointed in the app even though so far I'm very happy with the dishwasher.Quite shocking to see how terrible this app is, been trying to add washer and dryer in to the app, and was able to but they just showed up in main screen to be added but anytime I tried to add to my "network" it just crashes the app, now after removing them can't even get that far.

3. I can't see exact twindos detergent levels, the washing and drying assistant is gone, I get multiple notifications simultaneously when an appliance finishes a task, and navigation is extremely slow.

7. Would be nice to allow sub-accounts for multiple users.A year later and this app is still disappointing and slow to use, I have deactivated wifi to minimize the cyber security risk.

1. Fix Miele app Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

3. Clear Miele app – Smart Home app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Miele app servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Miele app – Smart Home" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Miele app app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Miele app might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Miele app. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Miele app then reinstall.
