1. What happened???? Unit died, turned off, house blew up, temp turned down to -40..... really.....This app has had good work done to it, so far the issues I have had in previous years are not showing up, additional function and interface changes seem easier to operate.

2. They were quick to respond to both messages and send me instructions to get it uo and running again, which i really appreciate!! Thank you so much :)Re-cap: I bought a Hisense window ac, brought it home, smart features didn't work.

3. Each time, the WiFi light blinks, but then just at the time it would normally connect to the WiFi, it disconnects and the light goes off completely, and the app gets stuck on "Connecting..." Please fix, and I'll gladly update my review to at least 4 stars.Responsive customer service.

4. I'm excited to continue to check out more features, but the biggest problem it used to have with unstable "forgetting connection" wifi type issues seems to have a good fix in place.

5. Pulled my units out of storage to set them up for the heatwave and now the app just...doesn't work.Please fix notification settings.

6. It does work, it is glitchy, and the button is difficult to operate (not really an app issue, but related).

7. They are off in both locations in app, yet app is getting full of them? Everytime the schedule changes it creates an in app notification, which I've already reported is useless with no specific info other than something happened.

8. Came home one day to find my A/C unit had somehow disconnected from WiFi.

9. Hotspot button on the unit also takes some practice to get where you can press and hold in the right spot.

10. Money has been spent to have this app go from a 1.2 star rating, to a 4.3. The app does not work.

11. Another issue is the app will say low speed for the fan while the speed on the A/C unit indicates it is on high so then again, you have to get out of bed to change the speed on the unit.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ConnectLife Issues

1. Fix ConnectLife Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ConnectLife: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ConnectLife App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ConnectLife" » Open ConnectLife » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ConnectLife » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ConnectLife app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ConnectLife servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ConnectLife" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ConnectLife app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ConnectLife might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ConnectLife. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ConnectLife then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ConnectLife not working


2. Fix ConnectLife Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ConnectLife be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ConnectLife not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ConnectLife may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • App is not sending instructions or Air Conditioner is not receiving them.
    The app says it’s sent but nothing is changing on ac unit.
