1. I was able to delete video from app and when I downloaded to the phone is when I was able to trim the clip which meant no wait for 1GB 10min fileThe dash cams are good, not great, and the ability to review videos via WiFi is horrible.

2. Also, forget about downloading the videos... They can take up to 20 or so minutes to transfer a copy to your phone via WiFi...This app used to work, but now that it's been updated after two years of no updates, it won't connect to my two dashcams.

3. The dash cam is great, but for a product that relies so heavily on wifi tethering and being able to view your videos without having to take your SD card out and manually grab the videos, you'd think the app would work.

4. You have to download the video clips to your phone to watch them without being connected to the camera, which it seems some people haven't figured out yet.

5. It takes a long time (several minutes) to download video to the app from the camera and even longer (ten minutes and counting) to compress video if you want to upload it to Youtube.

6. You can only download videos, and you can only trim a video if you are sharing it to YouTube or Facebook, not the ones saved on your device.

8. Once downloaded you can find them in the 'local storage' section, otherwise it will only been viewable by clicking on your camera, while it is connected.I try to connect to the camera and it gives vague instructions about setting up "tethering" on the camera.

1. Fix Roav DashCam Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Roav DashCam: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Roav DashCam App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Roav DashCam" » Open Roav DashCam » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Roav DashCam » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Roav DashCam app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Roav DashCam servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Roav DashCam" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Roav DashCam app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Roav DashCam might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Roav DashCam. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Roav DashCam then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Roav DashCam not working

2. Fix Roav DashCam Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Roav DashCam be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Roav DashCam not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Roav DashCam may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
