1. My device is on the same network, printing from PC trough wireless works, but this app just cannot find the printer.It's easy to use once you remember that you have to use it to print anything with.

2. 2) The printer doesn't default to 8.5x11, I have to change it from A4 EVERY TIME, which is super annoying when I'm in a hurry and forget, then the printer doesn't print bc it's waiting on a different size paper.It was a nightmare to onboard the printer.

7. The default printer that it goes to on your device will not work, especially if you using wireless printing.

8. just downloaded the app accepted terms and conditions and i had my phone hooked up to the printer and was able to select it and that was all.

9. Once selected there is no preview and no print opions (fill page orientation etc) other than colour/bw, it just prints immediately.

10. So it kinda works but isn't overly useful.I'd like to say this is a good app to use, but it won't let me choose a printer.

11. It's a headache with Chromebook but you can print using Chromebook.This is a fairly easy app to use.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Xerox Issues

1. Fix Xerox Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Xerox: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Xerox App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Xerox" » Open Xerox® Workplace » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Xerox » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Xerox® Workplace app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Xerox servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Xerox® Workplace" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Xerox app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Xerox might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Xerox. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Xerox then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Xerox not working


2. Fix Xerox Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Xerox be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Xerox not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Xerox may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
