Why should I report an Issue with FRep - Finger Replayer?

1. Notification type/icon, console size/transparency, drag/flick sensitivity, default settings, etc. - This app uses Accessibility Service by ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE permission to detect current app, for responsive switching function of floating console. - Full network access permission is used only for communication with the setup process in localhost. - Do not record including personal information and/or password. - The replay result may differ depending on the CPU load or such.

2. Once you record by the recording circle button, FRep automatically show console on the app on recorded.

3. By setting the Repeat number >1 in Manage Traces, FRep play the record continuously by the count.

4. To make good reproducibility, take longer delay for processing wait, stop touch at end point for dragging/flick, and more, try to Edit Sequence with image matching (see Tutorial in support site). - The records have no compatibility with other device.

5. To setup FRep initially or when Android rebooted, you need USB connection to Win/Mac/Linux/Android.

6. FRep do not record Power push, which will finish any recording/playing immediately.

The learning curve is high for more complex stuff, but once you take the time to read and understand how the if statements, image matching, variables, loops, and touch locations work, there is very little you can't do with this app!I didn't think this was possible without root access! I need to do the same 8 button presses about 150 times, and I didn't think I could automate it at all on a physical Android device (i.e. not virtualization on my already-janky Windows machine).

2. Every time you restart your phone or occasionally when the frep service errors out, you have to connect to another device and rerun the setup tool.

3. I didn't mind having to connect it to a computer via a USB, and I didn't mind having to repeat doing this every time I reset my phone.

4. You can root (unlock) your device giving yourself full admin level rights negating the requirement for the setup tool but that comes with its own problems.

5. However it began to randomly stop working with a "failed to connect to strserv" error and despite lots of fiddling I couldn't get it to work again.

6. I think it's an android 8.0 big I hope they fix soonThe setup was simple but what annoys me is how when putting it on the loop the input gets missed completely.

7. Deducting one star because everytime after a day or two, it gives me a "no reply from strserv" error out of nowhere and I have to connect to my PC again to redo the set-up.

1. Fix FRep Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FRep: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FRep App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FRep" » Open FRep - Finger Replayer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FRep » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FRep - Finger Replayer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FRep servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FRep - Finger Replayer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FRep app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FRep might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FRep. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FRep then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FRep not working

2. Fix FRep Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FRep be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FRep not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FRep may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
