1. The display says litres, but a cubic metre is 1000 times the volume of a litre!Best reliable app I have been using for almost two months now, it has two problems firstly there is no option to delete a meter, secondly there is no option to delete a group of meters or separate electricity, gas or water meters.

2. The only way to add a new reading in one tap is to long press app icon, a meter list pops up, otherwise you have to change meters from side menus.It's a good start, but not sure if it has any real benefit over a simple spreadsheet.

3. Barcode and number reading are convenient, and I like, but less important.It's exactly what I need, can you please on your update include the option to select kL for water readingsGreat app.

4. Interface needs to be changed, add option to write reading of each meter separately and remove option to group meters it's totally useless option.

5. There is no way to link a meter to a time-display option (for exemple, 1 month at water and 2 months at electricity), it just remembers the last setting.

6. There should be an option to round the dates on reports, for example if I take a reading 10 days before the new month, it should not split the usage between the two months (invoice doesn't).

7. I'm very happy with it.Excellent app, just missing a few features: I cannot set a different price for a unit during one period, for example, I have a yearly period for electricity, which starts and ends in July, but in January the price of kWh changes.

10. A software update caused an app crash but with the app's author and his help of a new update 2.11 the app was restored working well again I like how I can back up my data in the app it is important to use the auto back up feature.

11. It needs to include options for a 7day moving average and a month end forecast on consumption.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Meters reading Issues

1. Fix Meters reading Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Meters reading: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Meters reading App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Meters reading" » Open Meters reading » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Meters reading » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Meters reading app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Meters reading servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Meters reading" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Meters reading app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Meters reading might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Meters reading. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Meters reading then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Meters reading not working


2. Fix Meters reading Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Meters reading be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Meters reading not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Meters reading may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
