1. I'm downgrading to the previous version until you bring back an interface that's an actual app.Sometimes when I click on certain information tabs about the phone I'm looking up, a page pops up that I CAN NOT exit out of, and it's telling me where I can follow this website, like its social media, and it's telling me where I can download the app, which I'm literally in at that moment! But this only seems to happen with a few certain tabs, and is otherwise a great app.Not very sophisticated at all... So many options missing, also lack of more obscure brands that are potentially incredible value.

2. It used to be a great app when it use to workIt's just a web browser, if you click on the three lanes at the side you will see: Get It At Google Play, and when click anything it stays blue, not an animation.

3. The whole point of an app is a clean slick interface to use on your phone so you don't necessarily need the website.

4. It shows some useful insight, but it's far from completeGood idea, but the data that the comparisons based on is poor.

5. UI is a little dated but still works perfectly fine and gives you great info on comparisons at a glance.

6. I give it one star less for not having some brands.This update turned the a app into a glorified bookmark for the website.

7. I'm on a Pixel 2 XL and Android 10 (at the time of reviewing this) and it STILL works awesome and is still useful.

8. I used to be able to quickly compare sizes and specs of phones and now it takes 10x longer to find any information.

9. For example, the smartphone comparison assigns points purely based on specs on paper and even doing a bad job at that.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Versus Issues

1. Fix Versus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Versus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Versus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Versus" » Open Versus » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Versus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Versus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Versus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Versus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Versus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Versus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Versus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Versus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Versus not working


2. Fix Versus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Versus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Versus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Versus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
