VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO Customer Insights

1. It also has a few Quick actions like "good morning", and "good night", to open all the roller shutters and blinds with the press of a button, or closing all rollers/blinds and windows at once.

2. I'm able to control my skylight blinds with this, and set schedules for the automatic opening and closing based on day, time, and temperature.

3. Furthermore, in this process, the "security key" to my Velux Remote Control would change and I would have to manually reset the skylights (no easy task).

4. The app overall just seems unstable and not that useful.Just WOW+++++ Linked all my 4x Velux skylight windows/solar blackout blinds DSL MK06 and DSL M04.

5. Now, out of the blue, the blinds work but only one skylight works, and the one that decides to work seems to change every day or so.

9. That said, once you fight your way through, it works.2 stars because it worked when I set it up with 2 skylights and 2 blinds.

10. We got new skylights with blinds and I have tried all weekend to get this app to work.

11. I simply bought Active system so I could open and close from my phone because the physical remotes are big and ugly; I just didn't want them on display in my house.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO Issues

1. Fix VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO" » Open VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
