1. Users should disable auto-update of the old app before the developer implodes it.Still a good app, but cost under new subscription model is excessive compared to other equivalent apps.Easy to use and an invaluable tool for private pilotsThe cursor would not auto-move from field to next appropriate field.
2. Very easy to use for x-country planning! I have two suggestions: (1) Use the number keyboard for numeric fields as opposed to the alphanumeric "standard" kb, (2) Being able to enter time fields without having to enter 0s for unused fields would make it faster.
3. If that wasn't enough to give this app a one star, it also has no way of saving or carrying over calculations to other steps in the planning or flight operations. This kind of software does by no means require permanent modifications to stay on top of the laws of physics, it's no anti-virus.
4. The auto tab that happens whenever I enter or delete the second digit of a time input made me want to throw my phone out of the airplane.
5. Same holds true for TOC, the takeoff climb speed would be different than the cruise climb."Discontinuing" the old app to hide previously available features behind a paid subscription? No thanks.
6. The overwhelming majority of users will not need it on a daily or even weekly basis, and calculating a couple well-established formulas should not be so expensive, just because they are presented in a form that is more convenient than a general calculator for pilots.
7. I would like to see another calculation input for two different Ground Speeds - one for Cruise and the other for Descent... Example 100 kn cruise but 80 kn descent.
8. Asking for a refund.LOL. A weekly subscription fee for a static calculator software.
9. And maybe it's possible, that you calculate the groundspeed and if you go into the Leg time tab, the Ground speed is set automatically.
10. Trying to enter a time is a nightmare.
11. The stopwatch should run in the background while using the other functions of this apps.
