1. This feature was trimble weak point vs other major survey GPS brands, the fact that you can start a static session without a data collector.

2. I remember using Topcon's receiver that with a button will start logging, not with Trimble, you always had to use the data collector just for that.

3. Help out Trimble!Email data file, I was trying to send a base file of 8mb.

4. Not anymore! Thanks Trimble.The app connects to my reciever (sps-585) but doesn't let me start a survey.

5. Hard to tell how good it is after this first day, but so far not super impressed knowing the quality Trimble usually has.Awesome except few issues.

1. Fix Trimble DL Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Trimble DL: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Trimble DL App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Trimble DL" » Open Trimble DL » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Trimble DL » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Trimble DL app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Trimble DL servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Trimble DL" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Trimble DL app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Trimble DL might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Trimble DL. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Trimble DL then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Trimble DL not working

2. Fix Trimble DL Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Trimble DL be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Trimble DL not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Trimble DL may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
