1. Bottom line, this camera and application system does not workI am not happy with this camera for reasons as follows (1) you have to be physically in the the vehicle to access information why can"t you be able to get this info from your home to your smartphone or any other location other than having to be in your vehicle(2) the second reason is that when you click on the dashcam app on your smartphone it`s a lenghty process just to get to the menu for this app it is like when you first setup the appMy phone says it connected to the canmera's wifi, but the app does not agree and it crashes when I "drag to connect." Also tells me I "selected the wrong path" no matter where I try to set the storage folder.

2. App connects to phone over wifi... Hooray! But when I try to assign the storage location on my Android SD Card, it just tells me "Selected the wrong path, please try again." No matter what I've tried.

3. How annoying.The Toyota integrated dash camera takes a long time to connect to wifi.

4. * I have a beautiful new RAV4 with Android Auto and I can't access the INTEGRATED TOYOTA cam through the dash display??? (2023 RAV4 Prime XSE/Samsung Galaxy S9+)Won't let me in.

5. What a waste of $300+If app won't connect to phone, try resetting PW by holding down the mic and action button for ten sec to reset back to default password.

6. Wifi is a terrible setup to connect to the dashcam.

7. At least it connects, which is more than I had hoped for, given the other reviews.It does the job but can use improvements and fixes.

8. Have not been able to connect to the dashcam since.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Toyota Integrated Dashcam Issues

1. Fix Toyota Integrated Dashcam Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Toyota Integrated Dashcam: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Toyota Integrated Dashcam App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Toyota Integrated Dashcam" » Open Toyota Integrated Dashcam » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Toyota Integrated Dashcam » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Toyota Integrated Dashcam app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Toyota Integrated Dashcam servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Toyota Integrated Dashcam" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Toyota Integrated Dashcam app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Toyota Integrated Dashcam might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Toyota Integrated Dashcam. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Toyota Integrated Dashcam then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Toyota Integrated Dashcam not working
