1. Requiring a connection to the internet means when I pull out my phone to change activities or add a new one on the elevator, or parking garage it allows me to spend time getting it ready and then fails to save.
2. Being able to categorize your time as spaces and have it linked to the device is very practical.I don't think I've ever written a negative review for an app but this app feels really unpolished.
3. Don't use for anything actually important.£19 a month to be able to integrate the device into Google Calendar or Toggl seems a bit steep, especially for a solo user who used to use Toggl which does this for free.
4. I am constantly running into situations where the syncing overwrites my time incorrectly, UI elements don't update until I navigate away and come back, warnings about input while I'm still picking times, functionality breaking if you do things slightly out of order, etc.. I feel like I'm constantly stubbing my toe.
5. The physical device only connects half the time and even when it does it's debatable if it will accurately track time.
6. Do not buy the device! Device doesn't stay connected, so when long session of X activity has been going, it requires a lot of fiddling to switch to another activity.
7. Device doesn't connect properly and both the app and Windows software are unreliable, crashing or failing to launch.
8. The Insights page is what I have the most issue with- not sure if it's a big or by design, but the currently, the default display is for last week's data when I'm interested in this week's.
9. The whole point of this product is to make tracking easier than just writing it down manually but that's far from the reality. It's alright for time tracking.
10. Bottom line: it's a cool concept with a lotta rough edges.Don't waste your time or money.
11. In terms of extras, I would also love a widget option!Based purely on my unboxing and setup experience (I got it used without printed directions) I'd say this app could really reduce friction in onboarding.
