1. Although I guess that doesn't matter if it doesn't update time and tempCouldn't get the device to connect to my wifi - I tried both 5ghz and 2.4ghz networks.

2. it is supposed to detect what WiFi network your phone is connected to but it says uneven unknown network and doesn't allow you to input anything.

3. Also tried my Kindle Fire, but app not available in Amazon app store.App does not connect to wifi and thusly not to the device.

4. Did the 2.4 ghz, made sure it was not running, held the wifi symbol down for 3 seconds to hear the beep, correct password in the same room as router.

5. The instructions are also written in broken English so it's hard to tell what they're saying.Will not connect to sous vide device.

8. Once the sous vide is connected to WiFi, The app on my cellphone(android 10) automatically connected to it.

9. cook times for common items are useful, but not as useful as being able to automagically set the temp and time for cook remotely.The instructions are unclear.

10. If you have deleted the default cooker entry on your phone's app, simply uninstall and reinstall the app.NB in my experience remote activation does not always work.

11. Down at the bottom of the instructions, it says "Have a long press for 3 seconds" Press what for three seconds.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cook Pro Issues

1. Fix Cook Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Cook Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cook Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cook Pro" » Open Cook Pro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cook Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cook Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cook Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cook Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cook Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cook Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cook Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cook Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cook Pro not working


2. Fix Cook Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cook Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cook Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cook Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
