1. I've had orders pile up over the last couple of weeks since I keep forgetting to "skip", and now I'm on the path to a permanent cancellation, which involves emailing support... Easy in, difficult out - a prime example of a workflow designed to mislead and manipulate customers.EDIT: The customer service for blue apron is fantastic, very understanding of our situation and resolved it quickly and efficiently.
2. Please come up with better menu options! OR, if someone doesn't order dinner for the week offer them a dessert box or something that appeals to the eyes!.This app is simple and easy to navigate.
3. Also love the ability to plan well in advance and flexibility to customize options week-to-week (e.g. change the # of servings, switch out proteins, etc.) Notwithstanding the cost of the meals, the app itself is A++Blue apron definitely helped me develop my cooking skills.
4. I love the "day before" reminder, so I never forget to review my menu for the next week or cancel an order, if plans change.
5. Again being on a budget I can skip weeks I don't want and plan for the week I want.
6. You choose when you receive orders, by skipping weeks you don't want a delivery, and can pick weekly from a selection of varies meals.
7. It makes for a couple of nice at home date nights.The food is good quality and I love the variety of recipes and ingredients (some of which I usually can't get locally) .
8. After jumping through hoops to cancel my subscription over a year ago, I just recently signed up again thinking I would give it another try (always enjoyed the meals), but forgot that the app navigation issues were one of the reasons I left in the first place.
9. When I skip meals for a few weeks, I'll get an email suddenly saying I have an order, and unfortunately usually has incredients I'm allergic to.
10. And I'm talking $16 for shrimp, If you cancel a week, it asks you why, and if you refuse to answer, it removes the cancelation! There is no pause button, so you have to remember every week to cancel.
11. If this keeps up I'll be forced to cancel my subscription altogether.Good food, lots of options, difficult to cancel.
