1. Grid Tool support floating menu draw over other apps so you can use it for UI testing, analyze other apps or use as a drawing utility for artists.
2. Grid Tool is a lightweight utility program for developers which draws a grid on top of the phone screen.
3. Only "Display over other apps" permissions is needed, no additional permission are required.
4. Grid Tool is free, lightweight (less than 5MB) and customizable.
1. Current line thickness is very thin and non transparent.Lines need to be little bit transparent ( more colour option) and to be thinner than availableI like this app i wanted this app finally got it is useful i used this for my python programming to place a wedge in costom position it can draw on other apps if you give permission nice app keep it up.Handles awful.
2. 👍👍 One last comment -- you must open the Grid Tool app first and then the app you want to use under the grid.I'm trying to use it with a game, but when I turn it on, my screen doesn't respond to anything.
3. It runs nice on my Android 11 tablet. The grid will superimpose itself over the screen so you can do whatever with it there (which is how you can use it in other apps).
4. Note10+ Uninstalling. It will help more if grid line thickness and transparency is also customizable.
5. Compared to other grid overlays, I like that it does not load images into the app.
6. Needs a demo to explain what the settings are for or you can just play with it until the grid looks the way you want it.
7. Doesn't matter where I touch the screen, it doesn't recognize that I'm touching the screen.
8. I plan to use it for more precise drawing on apps where the provided grids are too wide-spaced.Works well using Android 11 -- and is ad free.
9. Different major and minor line thickness or color would make it even better, like every 10th line could be a bit darker.
10. So, for a fast sketch, I can just pause a youtube video and put a grid over it.
11. Edit: does not work smoothly for me on Android 7.
