1. Indeed, it looks the the app has not been updated for 4 years! I contacted the developer with the problem and they didn't even get back to me - so, terrible customer service/support even to a paying customer like myself.This is a wonderful music player, but as of now the app seems to have a bug that causes playback to stop whenever the player is put into the background (such as when the phone is locked or when the app is tucked behind another app).

No complaints though - Maple JB has been amazing since i first discovered it all the way back in 2011, and deserves accolades for being stable from 2.3.5 all the way to 10.This was by far the best music player around for a long time and still would be if it didn't stop playing music randomly or when the screen locks.

If they fixed the crash issue it would become my go to player again but as it is its unusable.Whenever I went back to the background or going to another app while hearing some music, the music suddenly stops or crashed and when I go back to that app, the track went to the very end when I just listened to the song barely halfway.
