What users are saying

1. Thank you very much for understanding!it's good when it works, too bad most of the time you just get the message "could not blur the background"... so many tries with dead steady camera and it's just not working...The state of this app is a reflection of SONYs ancient camera processing, algorithms and optics, seriously in need of an update and overhall (the new android 9 camera UI itself is nice, but the processing and low light needs work).. Sony, please show your Mobile phone supporters some love..Joy to use but always rest camera on something because the slightest wobble can mess up things! Also, go easy on blurring as it really looks fake after 60%.The app is working on my Xperia phone and I suggest that there should be also an option for this be used also on front facing camera which is really great.

2. This app lets you to blur the background and makes your single camera similar to that of iphones' dual snappers.I am a 20 Xperia device by family and friends Xperia user for 9 years.

3. Please listen to your loyal fanbase and get a proper portrait modeThank You Sony, one of the major reasons, i wanted to change my xperia Z1 was that it was not having bokeh mode, but you did a fascinating job via a software app.

4. Hope you'll have tons of other awesome camera effects in the future.Very good when it works - with adjustable de-focus - but majority of tries it reports that "background can't be blurred".

5. Also sony doesn't support camera2api so we cant use google camera mods which include portrait mode and hdr+.

6. Disappointing lazy app.You can't take close up photo with this app, an error occurred if you tried "Can not blur the background", you always need to maintain the specific distance from the object.

7. Please can you improve this app by adding zoom, exposure, front camera selection and more MP count? Please let Xperia users enjoy more of it.

8. Very disappointing application from the reputed Sony Mobile Communications brand who has its identity in market for clarity only !!!It needs to get a major upgrade.

9. This app blurred the background of left side only, right side and an object which you have kept focus on, remains the normal.

10. It's not intelligent, the blur seeps into the subject and there is no way to rectify it with an after effect option where you could drag the blur where needed.

11. I own a xzp everything is flawless except the missing portrait mode feature.
