Why should I report an Issue with Album?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. For some reason the edit button from the user interface has disappeared from the list of buttons, usually there is the share button, then the star button (to add a picture to your favorites list), and then there would be a edit button next after the ⭐ favorites button and the last button is a trash can to delete selected files.

2. I had a problem with most other things before as it didn't handle the SD folder files very well, and lately took ages to create folders as counterintuitive after last remodling of menus.

3. After it finished processing I realized that it deleted all of my screenshot images! Not just that, the 'pictures' folder is gone entirely! It's good that I manually back up my files, folder by folder (I also dont trust cloud services for the same reasons).

4. The other thing is that even though I have automatic updating disabled, Album seems to have a mind of its own and updates as soon as I revert back to the "old" Album... Very annoying...!!! So in my mind definitely NOT an improvement!This new update is even worse than the last one and that is difficult to do.

5. Before the update slideshow used to pick pics randomly and not like this new 'Recommend' option that says: "Use photos and videos associated with the date and location and more".

6. What could be the issue? Was it an update or some system defect?The new update is fine but please add the option to make photos appear fully randomly in header slideshow again.

7. E.g. When you select multiple photos for deleting, it doesn't tell you how many you selected when you press delete, so, you can select all by mistake and delete everything with no way of knowing or ability to stop it.

8. Basically, this app is not worth installing separately.Really great app! I really like it! Though can I ask for a feature wherein deleted photos will be move temporarily (maybe for about 1 week before it will deleted forever) to a "trash" or something like that? So that users can still review them and "restore" if its just accidentally deleted or not.

9. Deleting media files instead of fixing them... Somebody should look into it.Although the appearance looks better the problem now is that the option of viewing "Devices" has disappeared.

10. I often delete photos by accident and some of them are really important to me... I've tried different apps (sorry), but none of them is as good as this app.The App contains plethora of bugs.

11. The screen saver stopped things dead!It does not have any personalisation options, such as the possibility to show folders when opened, rather than the most recent images.

1. Fix Album Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Album: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Album App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Album" » Open Album » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Album » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Album app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Album servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Album" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Album app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Album might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Album. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Album then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Album not working

2. Fix Album Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Album be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Album not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Album may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
