1. When earbuds or headphones are connected to two devices, you can use the app to toggle between those devices as the primary audio source, but it doesn't work well and often gets stuck and quits working.The app is sluggish, prone to errors.

9. If I need to quickly switch my headphones between inputs, this adds an extra step every single time.

10. The app does not open once the crash occurs! Poor phone quality in slightly noisy places, background noise not canceled & is intelligible & distracting to the caller.

11. Sony's app continues to crash when toggling between 1 device to 2 devices paired or vice-versa.

1. Fix Sony | Sound Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Sony | Sound Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Sony | Sound Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sony | Sound Connect" » Open Sony | Sound Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sony | Sound Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Sony | Sound Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sony | Sound Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sony | Sound Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Sony | Sound Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sony | Sound Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sony | Sound Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sony | Sound Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sony | Sound Connect not working
