1. Don't blame it on covid!!Every day it gets worst, they've removed stations and the ones the still there are not working, awful, though they are still charging us, even if we cannot use them..It was working fine, but now it doesn't show the bike stations, please solve it because it's a useful app.Broken kiosks everywhere throughout Mexico City.

2. Easily the most dysfunctional and user-hostile system of any kind I've encountered in my considerable time on the planet.It has now been more than 2 months since the app stopped working.

3. Since then, neither i (using Android,) nor my partner (using iPhone,) have been able to login, access our existing accounts, or register new accounts.

4. I've come back and tried again over the years and I am convinced that the main goal of the operators is to dissuade people from using the system.

5. Works pretty well but can be confusing because the account login and registration system is clumsy.

6. And the other 4 cities were in US and Canada.My partner and I were both able to use an ecobici exactly once, three years ago.

7. App not working anymore, bike stations are not showing.

8. Overall Ecobici is the best public bike share out of the 5 cities I have tried.

9. Stupidly designed registration and payment system for anyone without a prepaid card.

10. Damage report feature is important, it just need space for description of problem.

11. It's definately worth using.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ECOBICI CDMX Issues

1. Fix ECOBICI CDMX Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ECOBICI CDMX: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ECOBICI CDMX App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ECOBICI CDMX" » Open ECOBICI CDMX » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ECOBICI CDMX » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ECOBICI CDMX app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ECOBICI CDMX servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ECOBICI CDMX" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ECOBICI CDMX app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ECOBICI CDMX might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ECOBICI CDMX. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ECOBICI CDMX then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ECOBICI CDMX not working
