1. Without the hardware the app can nonetheless be used, as it features a fully functional demonstration mode allowing the complete alignment process to be experienced before purchasing the TKSA 51 or TKSA 71 instrument. • Very easy-to-use – The Horizontal shaft alignment app focuses on making the main alignment tasks as easy as possible and enabling accurate shaft alignments. • Full measurement flexibility – The Horizontal shaft alignment app uses a flexible three position measurement method that allows measurements to start at any angle and if the space is limited alignments can be performed with a total of 40° rotation only. • Demonstration mode – The Horizontal shaft alignment app offers a fully functional demonstration mode allowing the complete alignment process to be experienced before purchasing a supported SKF Shaft Alignment Tool. • Automatic alignment report – Automatically generated alignment reports give a complete overview of the alignment process and results.
2. The reports can be customised with additional notes, a machine picture, a signature and can easily be shared via email or cloud services. • Explanatory videos – Easy to follow videos demonstrating how to set up and perform accurate measurements using the TKSA 51 or TKSA 71. • 3D Animations – 3D animations guide the user through the alignment process, allowing accurate shaft alignment to be performed in a very easy way. • Machine library and QR code scanner –Helps keeping track of the machines that have been measured.
3. The SKF TKSA 51 and TKSA 71 systems use a pair of measurement units that are combined with laser transmitter and detectors to measure and correct shaft alignment with high accuracy and reliability.
4. This app is designed to be used with the SKF Shaft Alignment Tool TKSA 51 or TKSA 71 hardware. The SKF TKSA 51 or TKSA 71 can be purchased separately from your local SKF Authorized Distributor.
5. Together, the hardware and the app form an alignment system that allows shaft alignments of many rotating machines to be made in an intuitive and easy way.
6. The Horizontal shaft alignment app is designed to be used with the SKF Shaft Alignment Tool TKSA 51 or TKSA 71.
7. The system uses line laser to PSD technology that enables highly accurate and reliable shaft alignments.
8. Machine information like distances, the machine picture, and other details are saved for each machine and can be reused the next time the same machine is measured.
9. The library can also be used for easy access to all the reports generated for each machine in one place.
10. QR codes can be scanned to identify a machine and quickly retrieve its details.
11. SKF will continuously monitor these devices and ensure that every version of the Android App will function admirably on these devices.
1. Hi Guys, I have installed this app on a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 today which comes with Android 11 and I am using it with your TKSA 51, but for some reason the app doesn't allow taking photos in situ, I mean, it does allow you to take it, but the photo doesn’t get uploaded/saved in the report.
2. is there a fix for this?No live reading available for vertical adjustment.so we have to set the angle (rotate the shaft to +-90,0) again and again.but in horizontal live reading is available.kindly add vertical adjustment live reading feature. It keeps on crashing for Samsung A3.
3. The display cannot rotate vertically, for example main interface,at my friend Iphone showing the display in vertical view, but mine is always in horizontal view.
4. I hav tried with a second A3, same problem! This app works well on an iphone but will not givey live readings with my Android phone.
5. I have another tablet with an older version of android and it works perfectly fine with the same app version 1.10.3. Can you please review and get back to us ASAP.
6. Same when during alignment,it should be in horizontal view but mine always in vertical view.
7. but the app doesn't want to change from mils to thou for some reason.
8. I believe this is a bug in the new Android 11 operating system not supported by your app.
9. everytime I look at the settings they are set up for thou but once you measure it reads in mils.
10. The app only allows you to upload photos previously taken/saved in the tablet.
11. Certainly we can live with that error, but technically the app is not running as it should.
