Why should I report an Issue with Ling - Learn Khmer Language?

1. So annoying! Hoping it's just a bug that can be easily fixed...Updated, support was quick and helpful with my problem, app has helped a lot with my understanding of Khmer, some minor issues like spelling in English translations, but overall excellent app.I just downloaded the app and paid the subscription, but now I'm not too sure if I will be able to continue with this app.

2. I'm looking forward to continuing my Khmer journey with Ling!!!Had some minor issues that got fixed the same day, great app.Very good app, I like that it jumps right in with sentences and dialogues are very useful.

3. Would be perfect, but for two things: 1) would be nice to save progress rather than starting all over with a module if the app closes, and 2) would like to be able to slow native speaker's voice tracks down to hear more clearly.It can't pick up my voice when I try to speak into it.

4. Great job y'all! Update 09/10/20: as I have gotten farther in the app there have been more errors, sound not matching text, some text skipping words.

5. There are a few times that the matching cards part has you match words that have not been covered first, so that glitch probably needs corrected.

6. I've reported each one and they have seemed to fix them in a timely manner but can't give 5 stars since there have been so many errors.Solid app, clear pronunciations by native speakers.

7. I used to be able to just click on vocabulary and read and listen to the words.

8. But the translation in English is hard to read compared to other apps I've downloaded in the past, which seems to be confusing me a lot.

9. Plus, there's too much learning of the Khmer alphabet, which I don't care to learn because I just want to learn to speak it.

10. Also, it would be nice if there was content explaining why words are written into the conversation but not actually said aloud.

11. In regards to my previous issue, it was resolved well within 24 hours and the support team were courteous respectful extremely helpful.

1. Fix Ling Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ling: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ling App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ling" » Open Ling - Learn Khmer Language » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ling » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ling - Learn Khmer Language app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ling servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ling - Learn Khmer Language" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ling app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ling might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ling. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ling then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ling not working

2. Fix Ling Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ling be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ling not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ling may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
