1. ("What is the special power of the fighter s?" or "Why are boxers good for you?") Hopefully in time, and with more development, this app will be really helpful.Normally I don't leave reviews for the sake of privacy but I have used many language learning apps but when I crossed paths with Yask, I was blown away! There is a scientific (AI) approach & an innovative concept to it.
2. Luckily, I can choose exercises.Works really well for getting feedback on sentences in your target language! You get prompt corrections to make you sound natural.
3. It would be amazing if the app told you what the actual issue is instead of an infinite loading animation. Thanks for updating w/support for nonbinary users! I think it's still fine to include translation exercises involving gender.
4. The two reasons I stopped using it frequently are that my main language, Finnish, doesn't have enough users and the feedback from users is sometimes incorrect.
5. The XP system works pretty well, but it's a little frustrating at the beginning when you aren't at a high enough level to correct other people's sentences.Hey yask team.
6. I enjoy using the app but have not gotten any feedback from other users on the sentences that I have submitted.
7. A good feature of the app is the amount of languages offered. From what I've seen on another review it's been a year and Japanese, Korean and Chinese have yet to be added as options for this app.
8. I highly recommend this app!An effective platform to learn new languages! You will get instant feedback from native speakers to correct your words or pronunciations.
9. Structuring it so you must help other users to advance is clever.
10. The design is very sleek and the exercises are good for practicing writing, speaking and translation.
11. Less of an issue is that some of the translation sentences or exercises make no sense.
