3. Now Sigalert has more users than any other online traffic service (comScore/MediaMetrix data from January 2011). *** MORE THAN JUST RED/YELLOW/GREEN -- Sigalert offers incredibly detailed speed information.
4. Save time, save money, and save yourself from the hassles of traffic jams with Sigalert -- right from your phone or tablet.
5. Now Sigalert has been expanded to offer its uniquely simple and powerful service in more than 75 metropolitan areas across the U. S.
6. For more than a decade, California drivers have had a secret weapon in their daily commute -- Sigalert.
7. You can see actual traffic conditions along your route right now.
1. If you are looking for traffic cameras from other cities besides Los Angeles, e.g., Albany, NY or New York City, NY, download the sigalert website.I can go on in 10 seconds, & find out the traffic before I hit it.
2. No need for an app. This sigalert app itself shows traffic cameras in Los Angeles, California only, but does not show traffic cameras for other cities like Albany, NY, or New York City, NY.
3. Looking to switch to something better.this is the only traffic app or website I've found that provides raw speed sensor data and they've been doing it since before smartphones were a glint in Steve jobs's eyes.
4. Google maps &c just give you an approximation calculated from the sensor data when available, and random users when not, it can be wildly inaccurate or misleadingUsed to be an awesome app... as of Sept 1st, 2020 - the app just loads up a browser page to the sigalert website.
5. Uninstalled.Doesn't work! Only for Central and southern Indiana to Louisville, KY road conditions and not elsewhere, doesn't let you zoom out or move the map to other places.
6. If on a long road trip only provides major city info, but then data lags so far behind it will say is clear when stopped dead, or say everything is stopped and see no issues.
7. I have gone to using Trucker Path for long road trips, great for if trucker but also for the long distance traveler.I've been using this app for about a year.
8. Also, very poor zoom capabilities and the icons are so small on a phone it is nearly impossible to touch when you have large fingers.
9. The app does not seem to pick up changing traffic conditions often enough.
10. Now tapping the camera icon does nothing and the zoom has to be held or it reverts back to full view.
11. By today's app standards, this one fails miserablyLacking, navigation is terrible in the app, But then since google bought Waze that sucks worse.
