1. Mobile Grid Client is a Second Life (SL) and Open Simulator (OpenSim) messaging client/viewer with local chat, IM, group chat, people search, mini map, the ability to teleport, inventory support and much more.
2. The unique client-server architecture of Mobile Grid Client keeps you connected to the grid all the time, even when your phone is in standby and keeps the traffic low.
3. Mobile Grid Client only uses a fraction of that and so doesn't rely on fast network connections or carrying your power adapter with you.
4. The fee is NOT recurring and Mobile Grid Client will always ask you before charging your account.
5. Traditional Second Life viewers generate massive data and therefore have a big impact on your phone’s battery and data plan.
6. After then you have to PAY A MONTHLY FEE (starting at L$250) for usage.
7. Mobile Grid Client is not an official Second Life viewer/client from Linden Lab and is not provided or supported by Linden Lab, the makers of Second Life.
1. Only Implement I would make would be to add chat colors into the app, and be able to see profiles, and textures.Ya know I read a lot of the reviews, and I think the problem is people are not reading the actual description of the App, It is not a graphical viewer....sayes that clearly, that being said on my S9 it install cleanly, up and running in a couple minutes, able to keep up with a few friends I dont see at night, worked perfect as far as teleporting blind and ending up naked.
2. Extremely disappointing that someone would jip money off of people in times like this.Only giving 2 stars because during free period app worked great ...once expired and I went to purchase another month it wouldn't let me...kept telling me I was already logged in, when I know I'm not!! Emailed and have yet to receive a reply....will update if this ever gets sorted out!!It does what it says it will do and that is get you logged in and let's you chat.
3. and they HAVE done it better, its simply not for sale anymore, its defunct, it is 3d, its called lumiya, you can find it in apk form if you use unknown sources quite easily, the reason its discontinued is because they introduced directx on the pc version, and mesh rigging (flexible animation) not compatible with old phones, you can still get it, and use it, but people will look wonky t posed, some might load properly, better than this.
4. One wonderful thing, the map shows parcel divider lines clearly, slightly more useful for visualising them than an actual client. It's decent hasn't been updated in awhile however and it shows unmuting is impossible from my experience and it requires a monthly fee of lindens.
5. It would be nice to see who I'm talking to like, Profile pictures, I can keep in contact with people right away, in the work life so that is good.
6. I expected a great experience, but just for the fact that I have to pay for a membership for an almost featureless second life viewer, I will not be using this anymore.
7. I can send messages to friends, accept teleports or offer teleports, send money, make landmarks, play in inventory and teleport.
8. You can also see people's picks, groups, and images and best of all doesn't require a monthly payment.
9. gonna have to use google, or perhaps apkpure, they have an app and have alot of now defunct free apps still available, and defunct paid ones as well.Best messaging app for Secondlife.
10. You can see the map image and where people are on it, but cannot do anything other than teleport beside them.
11. The App logs out when I log into Second Life, it would be awesome if it could run at the same time as well as receive Notifications.
