1. Family Hub functionality is limited on smartthings, Family Hub doesn't work anymore, you have to use smartthings! Since we lost whiteboard, I tried to use shopping list, but it does not sync to the phone or you see just one item! Very unhappy.
2. Turns out that even with the app updated, it can't connect to the app and is not even on the list of supported devices even though the appliances have the smart function and were advertised as such.
3. I can control kasa devices much much faster by integrating kasa versus adding devices directly to smartthings.
4. If it ever connects, it's good for shutting TV off or cutting vol down.Samsung S21Ultra, was great but now it crashes in 5 seconds of being open.
5. Lately, last month, devices just loose communication with smartthings.
6. Have been using smartthings for years, always been happy with it and the automation it allows in the house.
7. One time a month ago it updated with a better interface when using the remote, then they immediately changed it back to the old interface less than 24 hours later.
8. It now wants us to give our information to a third party!Just bought brand a bunch of new Samsung appliances specifically to be able to control it from my smartphone.
9. Since the Frame has no local controls and the kids had lost the remote, my only option was to unplug it and leave it on a single input until we found the remote again.
10. Also, smartthings should be smart enough to recognize they are the same devices.
11. There are times when it seems it won't work properly and I need to restart the app to get the remote on my tv to work.The worst app!! It gets confusing with each update, not very useful.
Cancel my subscription and refund me please
I want to cancel my smart things for $14.99. I just got it yesterday December 28 but is not working for me I’ve been trying to follow that directions to cancel but it doesn’t appear “ Smartthings” on my subscriptions but I check my bank account and there’s already a charge for those 14.99.
