2. Also, I'd really like to know if the app communicates with Google Fit.My biggest gripe, why doesn't the watch beep when you use the find watch feature? It just vibrates! It's hard to locate a vibration if you can't hear or feel it.

But that randomly a few days ago started vibrating and showing me the MAC address.. and it had been for the last few days buzzing the Bluetooth disconnected symbol when it wasn't so it was pretty annoying because it wasn't sure if it's a notification which it usually wasn't because it was just saying Bluetooth issue out of nowhereWell so far I've only been able to update the firmware once and that was the day I got it.

9. I do wish the app had the ability to pass on notifications to the watch from a few more sources; Slack and Discord in particular.

10. I tried to open the app to see what was up and as soon as my watch reconnected it booted me out of the app and disconnected the watch again.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iTech Duo Issues

1. Fix iTech Duo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iTech Duo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iTech Duo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iTech Duo" » Open iTech Duo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iTech Duo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iTech Duo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iTech Duo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iTech Duo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iTech Duo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iTech Duo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iTech Duo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iTech Duo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iTech Duo not working


2. Fix iTech Duo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iTech Duo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iTech Duo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iTech Duo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
