NOISE Customer Insights

1. I love your products but hate that the seaboard and lightpad don't work as well on windows and android.Worst app ever!! connected my seaboard block after a lot of difficulty as the GPS doesn't turn on itself.

2. I've switched to Roland zenbeats for using the roli lightpad block with my phone.The app has so much potential but it's clear that they prioritize the IOS app over this one.

3. Laggy login and typing but the sounds, mixers, and lightpad work relatively lag free aside from the general bluetooth latency.

4. Might as well throw the hardware in the bin, as it won't even pair because it needs an app, which won't install.Every time I try to make a beat, the audio hisses, skips and crackles to no end! Definitely the app as even does it with headphones.

5. It's a shame as I bought a Roli Seaboard Block that I can't even use with the app!Latency issues like crazy.

6. App crashes a lot, causes cracking noise, and misses basic warnings like "turn on GPS in order to discover Bluetooth devices" which cost me an hour of troubleshooting.

7. I found that the latency using Bluetooth and my phone was significant enough that making loops was really difficult.

8. I've watched IOS video and once something is recorded in a loop, the record button should change to OVERDUB but on the Android version, it does not.

9. Actually impossible to use, cannot believe the state of this app considering so many people that buy Roli products have androids.

10. This is an oversight by Roli programmers and I would hope they get it fixed.I'm thankful for having this app, but Roli is clearly targeted towards Apple users.

11. If you don't mind being second class citizen, give a try.Was unusable for 6 months becaus it wouldn't keep the bluetooth connection.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NOISE Issues

1. Fix NOISE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NOISE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NOISE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NOISE" » Open NOISE » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NOISE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear NOISE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NOISE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NOISE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NOISE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NOISE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NOISE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NOISE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NOISE not working


2. Fix NOISE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NOISE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NOISE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NOISE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • i lost my phone connnected with noise app with that email id and Mob no - jagtapnayan512@redacted and 8767600654 and isssue is i cant login my account because email id issue so i want to delete ,y account and and reloging with different email id and same mob no
