Cookies are not included in account details, you have to accept them Every Single Time you log in - it's a complete waste of precious time, if you want to add a comment, make sure you save it as you write it, the page is so unstable you can lose it any time.Something wrong... load time slowed down since last update, and also keeps just going blank after a few seconds.This app is a joke it sends me codes to get into the app, I even try to sign in through their email and it tells me the code is wrong! Don't bother with it!!!!I really appreciate "In your area".

2. After filling in the areas I live near, it then gives me literally dozens of intrusive and useless ads and information for places about 50 miles away...... Pointless.

3. However, I found the adverts intrusive and diverting, so I stopped using it for a long time.

4. It has a daily update focussed on my local information, events, politics and news.

5. So full of ads it takes forever to load the page, then it loads all the ads again because you moved the page or clicked on a link.

6. I've returned now, hoping the revision has improved the situation.The app itself is fine but the text is far too small and I can't see any method of enlarging it.

7. Having retired to Bournemouth in 2017 and then moving to the delightful village of Westbourne in 2018 is the best thing I have done.

8. The website keeps me up to date everyday with what's going on so thank you.

1. Fix InYourArea Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart InYourArea: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the InYourArea App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "InYourArea" » Open InYourArea - Local News & Info » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for InYourArea » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear InYourArea - Local News & Info app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from InYourArea servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "InYourArea - Local News & Info" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check InYourArea app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, InYourArea might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall InYourArea. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall InYourArea then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing InYourArea not working

2. Fix InYourArea Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make InYourArea be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to InYourArea not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, InYourArea may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
