1. It only loses a star from me for the lack of Chromecast support - without it, i can only use it on my tinny phone speaker rather than as the ambient music for which it was intended (previously the TuneIn stream allowed this but it's recently vecome very buggy and stops playing after 5 mins or so).I really love the music on this app! My only complaint is that the app seems to continuously crash at random, it's a bit annoying.
2. So I hope others can find itThank you to a YouTube channel called Techmoan who did a video about a 16â…”RPM record service that programmed instrumental background music that you might have found in an office, or even an industrial workplace.
3. No other instrumental background music app that I've found compares to this.Got here from a YouTube user "Techmoan" on 28th February 2017, his video demonstration review of the actual equipment this was all about.
4. @DawnGrant: all the music was recorded between the 1950s and 1980s (not 1940s to 1960s, the machines weren't invented until the 1950s!), with the final discs sent out in 1986.I love this stuff - relaxing music from a bygone era that's perfect to have on in the background.
5. 🙄 Still, the pros of it playing music that helps me study and concentrate (when it does work) outweigh that single con in my opinion! The best app ever.. I love this music.. I have no problems with it at all.. No buffer stops or sth.
6. It even plays in the background so you can do other things with your phone.Great oldies music from Los Angeles, CA.
7. I'm 80 years old and remember the days when this type of music played every where that you went, from the elevator in the tall buildings, grocery stores and doctor's office and fine eateries.
8. If you grew up having a radio on in the background, you'll probably enjoy this "station".Brilliant little app which does what it says on the tin! Just like having your own BMS machine, except a) the sound quality is MUCH better! and b) you never need to change the discs :).
9. One track of continuous 60s intrumental background music.
10. You will be listening to a SINGLE "Channel" of music from the 1940's - 1960's.
11. Anyone under the age of 40, and NOT from a Western county, will never understand this music.
