1. It's especially good if you upload photos of different parts of the plant.GREAT APPS !!!! I tested this great app ... I ran dozens of weeds, trees and random trees (most of which I know) around where I live.

2. Would still recommend.Pros: fast Easy to use 4 sections to choose: identify, disease and 2 more I snapped a photo of a plant, then snapped a photo of the same plant that was dead.

3. I have a very basic knowledge of plant ID but I think that it is essential to knowing what’s in front of me and knowing plant ID terms and basics helps a ton.

4. I'll keep the other one.Every time I take a pic it's clear in my camera view then goes blurry in the app view I even tried picking a flower laying it on the table and taking a pic and it still did not work.

7. 1000 stars.I am trying to obtain more involved with wild plants and this application works well on my 📱 which is much lighter to carry than a book.

8. I don't know how to get them identified.Once I'd spent a few minutes working out how to use the app (setting database to search location, ornamental) this app gives amazingly accurate results.

9. Especially right after i take the picture...bam! There's an ad..then it said sorry we couldn't identify the plant.

10. It continued to play in the background even when I shut down the app! I finally deleted it.This is obviously not perfect, but it gets enough correct that I feel comfortable using it.

11. I tried 5 different flowers all common that were bought from Home Depot and it was unable to id any of them.Too many pop up ads that make the app unable to identify anything.

1. Fix PlantFinder Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart PlantFinder: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the PlantFinder App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PlantFinder" » Open PlantFinder - Plant Identification » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PlantFinder » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear PlantFinder - Plant Identification app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PlantFinder servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PlantFinder - Plant Identification" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check PlantFinder app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PlantFinder might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall PlantFinder. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PlantFinder then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PlantFinder not working

2. Fix PlantFinder Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PlantFinder be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PlantFinder not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PlantFinder may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
