GPS Logger Pro Customer Insights

1. (The program allows as often as 1 sec.) I used the data share option to download both .kml and .CSV files and I was able to view a breadcrumb trail map, and load the time stamped location points into a database.

2. Unreliable and un responsive UI.Showed a map for a while with my route on there - then stopped working - doesn't seem to be a way to stop it - when I drop down and touch the message "a session is running" nothing happens and the Stop command button on the pro app is greyed out so no idea what's going on? To stop the app I have to restart my phone!Simple and does the job.

3. my only request is to have a smooth track , sometimes I drive over 200 miles.great little app but consumes a ridiculous amount of battery,even with the screen off.Good but the photos are not tagged to the each locations.

4. File is clearly there, can see it in other on device apps but I need it elsewhere.Keeps crashing during data export on both pro and lite version.

5. I had a question on data download, and the technical support email responded in a few hours with the answer.

6. I wish the displayed track were smoother, or had option to show just the location dots.

7. I was able to set a 10 second sampling interval, and the data points were very accurate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GPS Logger Pro Issues

1. Fix GPS Logger Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GPS Logger Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

  4. Check GPS Logger Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GPS Logger Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GPS Logger Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GPS Logger Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GPS Logger Pro not working


2. Fix GPS Logger Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GPS Logger Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GPS Logger Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GPS Logger Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
