My Conoco Customer Insights

1. You can no longer see gas prices or anything on the map and it won't let you choose a station, just tries to force you to the closest one where you won't get the promoted discount because not all stations accept mobile pay.For at least a week the app has been trying to connect to my location even though i only gave it permission when using the app.

2. Last time I tried to pay on app, while sitting at the pump at a Conoco station, app said no locations found.

3. Also equally half the Conoco stations anywhere near me dont use mobile pay! Price is right so I drive to the station that does but seems a scam on the part of them.Daily fill up user for my business.

4. This update won't let you search for locations that accept mobile pay, which is the only reason to use this app, and mobile pay is the only reason to go to conoco over other stations.

5. The nice lady in the store said its my credit card thats linked to your app, but when i paid with just my credit card it went thru.

6. I've tried adding the "1" before my number because hey, maybe it's a glitchy system but says invalid phone number.

7. When I chose the option to leave a message it told me they were having problems with the system and to try back later.Up until last update, was perfectly stable.

8. I've tried to call the help line twice and even though it was within the posted hours an automated system told me they were closed.

9. It asks me to submit my phone number so I say "okay" and then it won't accept it saying its required for multi factor authorization.

10. I had the time, so followed directions to a non CONOCO station.

11. I had my credit card all set up and ready to pay at the pump.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Conoco Issues

1. Fix My Conoco Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Conoco: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Conoco App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Conoco" » Open My Conoco » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Conoco » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Conoco app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Conoco servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Conoco" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Conoco app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Conoco might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Conoco. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Conoco then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Conoco not working


2. Fix My Conoco Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Conoco be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Conoco not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Conoco may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
