1. Please acknowledge the bug and update the App and this could be a 5 star rating, until then it has to be 1 star as it's of no use to me.Two stars because: It will connect to meter ONLY IF you give the app permission to access your location!!! OWON, Why do you need to know my location?!?! And why does denying location access break your app? Knock it off, and remove that requirement.
2. Lay off the drugs and update the app.great app but google mucks it up by requiring location to be enabled before it will connect, took a long time to find out why it had stopped working.Suddenly this app wants a whole bunch of unnecessary permissions, which it was working fine without so far.
3. I noticed that this app had been upgraded to 1.6.7.0 in May 2022 (it has been over a year since the last upgrade) although the previous file save problems have been fixed a new one has been introduced..... while in graph mode it is not possible to set the record interval to anything other than the default 0.5 seconds, you can change it in settings but it does not take and reverts back to the default.
4. Still works great for data logging without the update and wholly unnecessary permissions. As others have said, the app is currently broken for offline recording at Android 10 or 11 - with a 'file lost!' error every time.
5. I wish this was more clearly stated when trying to pair first time. Some people criticising the developers don't understand Android security model - Bluetooth can be used to track locations so that permission is required by android security to use bluetooth features (like scan).
6. So still stays at 1 star !"bug fixing" Sept 18 update is now requesting a bunch of new permissions, including device & app history, identity, and location? How about no.
7. Using meter manually until app developer gets their head out of their nether regions about user privacy.Looks a lot more like a Chinese spy app and a lot less like a DMM app with all the ridiculous permissions you want.
8. You'll keep getting bad reviews because of that problem.Didn't realize BT-LE requires location for the device to become discoverable.
9. You need to grant the app permission to discover the meter.
10. Nothing to do with the devs.Really wanted to use this with my brand new B35T+ but I'm not installing it with that list of permission requests.
11. To update since my last review.
