1. 2-When reminding me that it is time to reorder X refills, a button is provided to place the reorder, but does not list which meds I am about to process.

I can then remove any from the cart before continuing, but I'm very uncomfortable with having to place them in my cart in the first place just to find out what they are!Revised Review: Optum app customer service contacted me and after trying several things with me suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

3. I touch the circle that says refills and it automatically puts them in the cart! I don't get to choose! NO notification (NOT EMAIL) reminders, and when they send 3 mo at once, it's really easy to run out.

4. May be time to look for new provider!The local pricing for medication simply does not work.

5. Developers - PLEASE move/change the arrows to change between medications, curved screens cannot use them! Items without refills APPEAR MAGICALLY in the cart.

6. Such a great opportunity for improvement but I will not be holding my breath.When you go to check pricing for drugs the current list is incomplete so you can't really check anything.

7. After setting slider to log in with fingerprint and then using password and confirming fingerprint, after logging off and logging in next time, slider was back to off and had to go through whole procedure again.

8. Two gripes in particular: 1-When reminding me to reorder it does not show me the date of my last reorder.

9. It is missing the most common information on the medication list such as remaining renewals and the last date the medication was ordered.

10. You place your order via the app and inevitably have to call numerous times to deal with payment bugs, out-of-stocks, and copay issues.

11. The most infuriating thing that it does is log you off if you change focus for just a second to, as an example, go to a provider's site to request a renewal.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix OptumRx Issues

1. Fix OptumRx Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart OptumRx: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the OptumRx App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OptumRx" » Open OptumRx » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OptumRx » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear OptumRx app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OptumRx servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OptumRx" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check OptumRx app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OptumRx might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall OptumRx. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OptumRx then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OptumRx not working


2. Fix OptumRx Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OptumRx be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to OptumRx not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, OptumRx may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hi, I spoke to a representative today about canceling my prescriptions. Despite this, I have been notified that my prescriptions have been purchased without my consent, or perhaps there was a misunderstanding. I would like to cancel these orders, is it possible that this can be taken care of? Thanks.
