About Network KeepAlive

1. This can be very disruptive if you are not actively using your connection, but still want to receive email or other push notifications when they arrive.

2. Some networks, usually WiFi, will require you to login again after short periods of inactivity.

3. This app will periodically download a tiny file to indicate that your connection is still active.

4. Some networks have timeouts that are not based on inactivity.

5. THIS WILL NOT RECONNECT YOU TO THE NETWORK IF YOU ARE DISCONNECTED.

6. THIS WILL NOT HELP IF THE NETWORK TIMES YOU OUT FOR ANOTHER REASON.

7. They could log you out at preset times, or for meeting a threshold of use.

8. This app will not work for those cases.

Network KeepAlive Customer Insights

1. How does it detect the Internet connection? Does it try to open a particular website? What if the website is blocked in my country? Will it detect this as "No Internet connection"? If so, it would be nice to know which website it tries to access and perhaps it should give options to specify a different website and the file to download.

2. Should the app (service) work with mobile Internet or is for WiFi connections only for whatever reason? As it is, I must assume that it doesn't work with a mobile Internet connection.

3. Also, mobile providers often cut the Internet connection at random, but if you try to open any website, the connection comes back after a few seconds.

4. Perhaps add an interface that shows the SSID and things?Still doesn't work for Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra.One or two minor issues on Samsung S22 Ultra, running Android 13 and OneUI 5.0. While the app installs OK there is no UI for the app and often, when touching the icon, nothing happens.

5. My phone is connected to the Internet via mobile connection (not WiFi).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Network KeepAlive Issues

1. Fix Network KeepAlive Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Network KeepAlive: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Network KeepAlive App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Network KeepAlive" » Open Network KeepAlive » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Network KeepAlive » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Network KeepAlive app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Network KeepAlive servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Network KeepAlive" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Network KeepAlive app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Network KeepAlive might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Network KeepAlive. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Network KeepAlive then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Network KeepAlive not working


2. Fix Network KeepAlive Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Network KeepAlive be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Network KeepAlive not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Network KeepAlive may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
