Why should I report an Issue with 9GAG: Funny GIF, Meme & Video?

1. The ads are very intrusive now and play videos with audio automatically even before I scroll to it, this happens while I have other videos playing.

2. The problem is all the ads play music in the background when the audio is off, when another video in the app is playing, and sometimes it keeps playing the music even when I'm out of the app.

3. You can try muting the ad (if you can even find it) but it unmutes itself as soon as you scroll again.Been using the app for a long time now but recent changes are making me want to quit.

9. Now I keep getting thrown back to the top every time I open the app, you can't block anonymous posters, you can't see dislikes anymore, and I keep accidentally pressing the wrong icons since they changed the UI.

10. They saw how much everyone hated that YouTube removed the downvote counter so that said, "hey, let's do the same thing!"... That and it now has ads that play loud audio even when they're not on the screen.

11. Now I'm lucky if literally ANYTHING other than the black background screen loads and if it does, it only lasts for a few minutes; GIFs are just out of the question.

1. Fix 9GAG Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart 9GAG: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the 9GAG App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "9GAG" » Open 9GAG: Funny GIF, Meme & Video » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 9GAG » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear 9GAG: Funny GIF, Meme & Video app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 9GAG servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "9GAG: Funny GIF, Meme & Video" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check 9GAG app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 9GAG might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall 9GAG. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 9GAG then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 9GAG not working

2. Fix 9GAG Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 9GAG be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 9GAG not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 9GAG may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
