1. You just had to add a stylized icon for Android 13, but no, you decided to turn the application into this horror! In addition, all your new animations are terribly slowed down and this is on the flagship!The most recent update has rendered the bluetooth remote control useless, its too buggy and wont even move without stuttering and has serious input delay, everything else works fine though, but i usually ride the segway to the park with my dog and use the bluetooth remote control to walk while at the park or even around my neighborhood... Its unfortunate cause i have a little more than 1600km ride distance since 2019 without any issues (this is my 2nd unit) So 2 stars until this issue is solved.It's much nicer than the last version, but it could still use some polish.

I much preferred the old interface and wish it stayed that way, I literally used to tell people it was such a useful app but now I cannot use it anymore.The most terrible update what I've ever seen! How could you release such an ugly update? The previous version was incredibly beautiful and functional.

3. Chinese Communist Spyware? Please be carefulApp works reliably but some features of the previous version are missing.

4. Chinese app asks for access to your contacts, says this is the only way it can use the Bluetooth but I don't find any evidence for that on the internet.

5. It finds it, I click on it, it then tells me to pair it with Bluetooth and gives me a paragraph in Chinese which isn't terribly helpful to me.

6. Going to the Bluetooth settings and trying to pair it that way ask me for a pin code.

7. You still have to invest in a chain lock either way, which will be a much greater deterrent.The previous version was so much better and streamlined, the new version looks like a mess.

8. I used it to set a Password, perhaps if you don't someone else could connect and change to beginner mode while you're riding? Connecting takes a lot of tries, sometimes asks for the password and permissions again, apparently doesn't remember.

9. I went back to using the previous version so I can limit the top speed for my grandson.Like for many others, this app is virtually worthless.

10. After talking to customer service, turns out my unit was outputting an error code that meant one of the control boards was bad.

11. Not useful while riding, but need it to check the odometer.Many reviewers are saying they cannot tap "next" to register.

1. Fix Segway-Ninebot Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Segway-Ninebot: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Segway-Ninebot App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Segway-Ninebot" » Open Segway-Ninebot » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Segway-Ninebot » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Segway-Ninebot app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Segway-Ninebot servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Segway-Ninebot" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Segway-Ninebot app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Segway-Ninebot might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Segway-Ninebot. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Segway-Ninebot then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Segway-Ninebot not working

2. Fix Segway-Ninebot Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Segway-Ninebot be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Segway-Ninebot not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Segway-Ninebot may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
