1. and It's not practical that I have to manually connect my scooter every time... couldn't it just automatically connect when I turn it on? (the scooter) like for example wireless headphones...Got the makings of being a good app but, not intuitive at all.

2. Feels like there are some common sense features missing.Good app with good features for my ES2 but almost every time I open the app it crashes and I have to open it again before it works.

3. Locking function is a good idea but fairly useless especially once the scooter turns off the locking function is cancelled.

4. Now when the throttle is released nothing happens and the scooter does not slow, and changing the settings on the app has no effect.

9. May I know the reason for this new feature? If it is helping, why??The App sometimes crashed, if only the scooter switchs off itself, so.. you have to exit the App, and the re-connected again.

10. For starters its keeps telling me that I have to do a upgrade to it, however when I try to to the upgrade it takes me right back to the original version and wont let me.

11. Needs to Auto connect via Bluetooth when scooter is switched on.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Segway-Ninebot Issues

1. Fix Segway-Ninebot Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Segway-Ninebot: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Segway-Ninebot App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Segway-Ninebot" » Open Segway-Ninebot » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Segway-Ninebot » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Segway-Ninebot app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Segway-Ninebot servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Segway-Ninebot" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Segway-Ninebot app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Segway-Ninebot might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Segway-Ninebot. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Segway-Ninebot then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Segway-Ninebot not working


2. Fix Segway-Ninebot Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Segway-Ninebot be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Segway-Ninebot not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Segway-Ninebot may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
