2. Please note this legacy version of Framelapse (1) is no longer updated, though the last release will be available to download for legacy Androidâ„¢ versions.
3. Due to Android 8+ security features, certain features in this version are no longer supported, thus is available as is for classic users with dated Android versions.
4. However because anyone who has paid for this app deserve to have latest Framelapse, we have given all the features available in this old version in the new "Framelapse 2" app.
5. So for pro legacy users, do try other latest version as it is updated and you don't lose any of the pro features anyway.
6. Only new features are available as optional in app purchases, which were never part of the legacy release.
7. Whatever you paid for is available there without any hassle or paywall, a decision we took at our cost for legacy users benefit.
8. Good news is that the latest (Framelapse 2) version has a new smart screen lock mode.
9. Consider using "Framelapse 2" upgraded app version - the new, better and updated alternative.
10. It has all features in here pre-unlocked, plus great new modes as optional in app purchases.
11. A full featured app for creating stunning time-lapse videos on your Androidâ„¢ device.
1. Exposure and white balance lock work well, and the app does give nice time lapses, but i feel a bit cheated out of a function I was promised eith the purchase.
2. I can understand developer's need to use frame interval and video frame playback rate to compute recording time, however, actual playback rate is not close to the 24, 25 and 30 FPS offered.
3. Then I'd rate a "5"!App crashes from time to time and the Sleep Mode does not work, which was the driving factor on my purchase of the pro app.
4. I purchased the Pro...did not fix issue. It USED to work flawlessly, but it seems like the app is no longer being maintained (last update was in Sept 2017) and as a result it doesn't work on newer phone models.
5. When the actual photo is snapped, the software allows for a 'shutter' sound in order to time your changes between shots.
6. I haven't had the time yet to experimentally determine the actual rate, which will require a coefficient to adjust the displayed record time.
7. Really weird and strange flickering and jumping in the colors even with white balance and exposure is on lock! High performance mode? Doesn't really do anything on my phone, P20.
8. But too often, it has a fatal bug: it doesn't stop after your designated duration - it just keeps on "recording", and if you try to stop it with the shutter button, it erases everything.
9. So you may waste hours thinking that you're recording a time lapse when in fact you have nothing.
10. HOWEVER, shutter sound is NOT in sync with actual time of shot.
11. It's insanely frustrating to set your phone up to capture an hour or two of time-lapse video and return later to find the app locked up your phone and captured a just second before crashing.
