Favor Customer Insights

1. I had to keep closing the app to push my order through.Deceptive and shady! Free delivery? NOPE! 1) They made two instant withdrawals totaling $75 for an order that cost $17.05. 2) They didn't say there would be a $2.99 service fee during the order and I was looking for it.

2. None of the menu prices are correct on the app and they add on extra fees after your order is delivered they they didnt show in the total when you ordered.

3. But the customer service is great and while it may take a while for a runner to get my order they always make sure to get exactly what I ask for and let me know if an item is unavailable in the store.

4. Favor used to be ok but now they are doing this thing where the total when you place the order is a lot cheaper than the total when you receive the order.

5. If this annoying system of juggling the order is necessary, do NOT show it in the app until the runner is locked in.

6. Some bugs made it frustrating and I almost didn't order.

7. The cancel the order so I didn't have to pay, but runner still got their tip.

8. I can only order from 2 dollar stores a stripes and a Subway no major grocery stores.

9. I especially like that with this app you can write in an address if a store you are looking for isn't on their list.The selection is good but the support experience really seems to be on the decline.

10. So many times, my order is picked up and dropped by runners over and over again until nearly 30 minutes later someone actually runs it.

11. There was no place to update it before or after the order.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Favor Issues

1. Fix Favor Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Favor: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Favor App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Favor" » Open Favor: Texas Food Delivery » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Favor » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Favor: Texas Food Delivery app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Favor servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Favor: Texas Food Delivery" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Favor app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Favor might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Favor. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Favor then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Favor not working


2. Fix Favor Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Favor be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Favor not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Favor may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I would like to delete my favor account. I have grown tired of using the app and it's just taking up space at this point. I would also like if you could delete my data. An order was placed on my account that I didn't make, so I just want to delete my account.

Account name Terre Suzanne, Cedar Park, TX 512-713-8074, terrefletcher@redacted Under GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation (for EU Residents): This gives me the right to demand Favor that holds data about me, to delete all my data. This is known as my ‘right to erasure’. Favor has one calendar month to respond to my request and I don't have to give you a reason for wanting my account deleted asap! After what I experienced with your incapable driver and the lack of communication with your organization to get the awful experience rectified I am in no way wanting to continue with Favor and want all my information deleted! You are a horrible service! I am a handicapped senior citizen and didn't deserve the treatment I got! The penalty for non-compliance - A $7,500 fine under CCPA and 4% of annual turnover under GDPR.
