1. What this amounts to is the following absolute insanity: in order to watch the next episode in a series, you need to open the menu, find the search icon, wait for search to load, type in the name of your show, wait for the search to process, scroll through and select the correct show from the list, wait for that to load, choose the correct season, and finally scroll horizontally in portrait mode two episodes at a time (because the app only rotates once you're watching) to the episode you want, click it, sit through a dark commercial or two, hope the app doesn't lock up, and finally you're watching! You must do this nearly every time, after every episode.

2. Most of those commercials, mind you, repeat a couple times before moving on (I'm sorry I can only hear "Going to the Chapel" so many times).Hey there NBC! I would like to let you know about a little thing that keeps happening to all of my shows... they keep cutting out... it's not a data or wifi problem because when I rewind and try to watch the part that it skipped over, it skips in the exact same spot... I don't know what caused this or how to fix it but I'm asking you guys to figure it out because I really like the shows you have on there and would like to see the episodes without it skipping every minute! thank you!Don't pause the app.

3. These shows can wait for Hulu or wherever they'll end up, because this mess is not worth it! Constant tech issues and way too many commercials!! I have sat through 4 sets, an app shut down, probably 15 minutes now and I still have no idea where at in the episode I fell asleep - less than 1 minute of actual show watched.

4. It's prone to freezing and crashing, but wait till you hear what else is going on with this catastrophe of epic proportions, because that's not even the craziest part! When commercials come up, the screen goes ultra dim and the huge pause button pops into the center of the frame, staying this way for the duration.

5. If not for that, I'd give this app 5 stars.I love getting to watch my favorite shows on my time! I also love that it allows streaming anytime and doesn't block old episodes.

6. Whether it's the audio not working or no playback, every time I want to watch a show, I can guarantee that my attempt will be futile.

7. Yet it remembers that on the first day I ever used it, I only watched half of an episode of House, and asks me every time the home screen comes up if I want to finish watching that.

8. It streams crystal clear audio and video, even for a show back from 1978!Out of all the apps that are installed on my phone, this is the ONLY one that consistently gives me problems.

9. They are all superior to this thing).I'm happy to be able to watch NBC shows from my phone, especially given the clear and smooth video.

10. If this wasn't the literal only way to stream certain programs, you better believe I'd use something else (and I do in every single case where another streaming service has the show I want.

   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The NBC App - Stream TV Shows" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check The NBC App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The NBC App might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall The NBC App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The NBC App then reinstall.
