1. Originally developed to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the launch of NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope, this app has since been expanded with many new images & science facts to help users explore our Universe.
2. NASA Selfies lets you put your photo in a virtual spacesuit in front of some of NASA's most captivating space images.
3. Share these space selfies on social media, and learn about the science behind the pictures.
4. Create your own selfies from outer space!
5. A recent update honors the end of the Spitzer mission which occurred on January 30, 2020 after 16+ years of exploration.
1. Or, go to a place with a very powerful telescope, OR visit NASA.It works good it's funny but it would be really cool if you were able to do other selfies other than that I can't give it a five-star raining but if you make it to where we can do other things it's definitely a five starThis is app is AWESOME but I wish there's some activity to do like play some games finding the planet all u can do is take a picture and yea super awesome easy to use I recommend. So loved the pics! I used them to advertise a book reading I was doing.
2. Otherwise the app is wonderful.Awesome...simple...just a bit limited...needs more than one astronaut decal (full body close and far) with the ability to resize your picture...and to upload any pictures.
3. Please let us to add other pictures of universe from google as background so that we can use any picture we want.
4. It merges the person's head into the suit of an real astronaut and sets the background to choice based images of space phenomenons.
5. The NASA Selfie app delivers it's premise: it allows for easy and instantaneous access to selfies took in space.
6. Personally, I wish I can have the black hole as my background and sucking me into an abysmal of darkness.Nice app.
7. Especially I would love black hole as background in my picture which is not in option.
8. I can change the background, save it, and send it by email and/or messenger! So fasinating that I want to pull my telescope out and see if I can see it.
9. My face in a spacesuit (Google Duo did this but it was a video, this is not) floating near a star (in space) or constellation or other phenomenon.
10. My kids and I had a lot of fun trying out the different backgrounds. This is.....just not great...even in concept.. With better preview/shot alignment, you have an idea for an app, but this just doesn't do much.Cool app.
11. It's fascinating to see yourself actually in space if you are intrigued and motivated to study planets and the solar system.
